Ms. Resmitha Ramachandran is an Advocate on Record at the Supreme Court of India. She holds a First Division in both her M.A. in International Relations and her LL.M. in Criminal Law.

 

With extensive experience in constitutional and appellate litigation, Ms. Ramachandran has appeared in matters of national significance before the Supreme Court. Her practice spans a broad spectrum, including service law, customs law, indirect taxation, revenue, contracts, and land acquisition.

 

She has also appeared before several High Courts across the country, including Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab & Haryana, and Delhi.

 

From 2021 to 2026, Ms. Ramachandran served as Government Pleader, representing the State in a wide range of matters pertaining to indirect taxation, revenue, contractual disputes, and land acquisition.

 

She is the recipient of the prestigious Hardev Memorial Award for proficiency in law. Her writings on matters of public interest have been published in leading journals and newspapers, including The Hindu.

 

Ms. Ramachandran is multilingual, with proficiency in English, Hindi, and Malayalam, and a working knowledge of French.
